Branded Cities now offering brands premier media assets in North America’s largest shopping centre, West Edmonton Mall

West Edmonton Mall is the newest addition to Branded Cities’ premium portfolio of shopping centres.

Toronto, Canada (December 11, 2018) – Branded Cities, a premier Out-of-Home (OOH) media company in North America, has secured a long-term partnership with West Edmonton Mall, North America’s largest shopping centre at 5.3 million square feet. The latest addition expands Branded Cities’ growing portfolio of premier media assets in Western Canada.
The agreement will include the addition of various interior and exterior advertising faces to the Branded Cities inventory. In the first half of 2019, the portfolio will be expanded with the addition of 40 digital directory ad faces as well as large format digital spectaculars. The media inventory at the mall will provide the most comprehensive coverage of the shopping destination, further supported by dynamic digital capabilities.

The mall is a comprehensive retail, hospitality and entertainment complex, boasting over 800 stores and services including nine world-class attractions, two hotels, over 100 dining venues, entertainment options, and more. The world-class destination attracts approximately 30.8 million annual visits, making West Edmonton Mall the province’s number-one tourist attraction. Currently, the mall is in the midst of a revitalization project, enhancing the shopping centre by adding exciting elements to captivate shoppers.

“As a landmark destination, West Edmonton Mall actively strives to build an exceptional visitor experience, delivering efficiency, convenience, and inspiration to our shoppers throughout the mall,” said Daniel Person, Vice President, Specialty Leasing & Partnerships, West Edmonton Mall. “We believe that our partnership with Branded Cities will support us in achieving this goal through premium static and digital Out-of-Home advertising media.”
